anti-twilight

What's new about vampires?!?

There had already been a lot of books written about them.

The vampire chronicles by Anne Rice and many others have already discussed all of these human-vampire relationships, how vampires tend to envy humans for simply being alive and how humans in turn seek immortality even through the terrible consequences that they may face.

Clearly it lacks the unique elements that have set the foundations of classics such as The Lord of the Rings series, The Chronicles of Narnia series and the best fantasy novel of all time, THE HARRY POTTER series!!!!

The plot only feeds on young teenagers' tendencies to be easily captivated in a world filled with romance where handsome and courageous young men are distinct and dominant and damsels are rescued from evil villains.

Moreover, the quality of the writing style seem to deteriorate with every other sequel. It just proves how Stephenie Meyer lacks the ability to immerse her characters into a period of transition where they tend to change as they mature. Her characters specially Bella and Edward, are stagnant and stereotypical compared to the colorful and distinctly unique characters of JK Rowling in the Harry Potter series.

All in all, the Harry Potter series is still and will always be the best fantasy-based novel for teenagers and adults alike!!!People shouldn't even be thinking that such a mediocre and poorly fabricated story such as the twilight's plot could ever surpass the supremacy and ingenuity of Harry Potter's epic journey.
